Torch
The torch is one of two items that the player spawns into the world with, and though it finds occasional use in navigating through the dim of night and absolute darkness of the underground, it's abilities beyond that are questionable. It is considered unwise to employ the torch in darkness unless absolutely necessary, as you mark yourself a target to any players within eyeshot.
