Sam Site
The SAM Site targets any air vehicles (minicopter, scrap helicopter and hot air balloon, even TC authorized players with air vehicles) in range and shoots SAM ammo at the targeted vehicle. They will also target at MLRS rockets, 3 SAM sites are recommended for maximum MLRS protection. It is recommended to have a RF Transmitter or a Smart Switch paired on your phone to toggle the SAM site if you have air vehicles. As of February 2022, the SAM site has a Defender Mode that only targets MLRS rockets but not air vehicles. This allows you to still use your minicopters, but never friendly fired by your own SAM sites.

Crafting
Sam Site cannot be crafted — it drops as loot, comes from a research blueprint, or is found at monuments.
Recycling
Rust has two recycler types. Monument recyclers are faster and yield 60%, but you can be attacked. Safe-zone recyclers in Outpost and Bandit yield 40% and take longer, but turrets protect you.
