A military issue high powered rifle. Offers more accuracy at longer ranges than the Bolt Action at the tradeoff of being uncraftable. Obtained through APC and Locked crates.
Tip ·Top-tier sniper. One-shot to the head against most armor. Late-wipe weapon — usually obtained from APC/Heli loot rather than crafting.

Crafting
L96 Rifle cannot be crafted — it drops as loot, comes from a research blueprint, or is found at monuments.
Recycling
Rust has two recycler types. Monument recyclers are faster and yield 60%, but you can be attacked. Safe-zone recyclers in Outpost and Bandit yield 40% and take longer, but turrets protect you.
L96 Rifle cannot be recycled.
